Comparison: HTC J Butterfly Vs. Galaxy Note 2

When it comes to count on most popular phablets (phone-come-tablet), any one would surely suggest the name of Galaxy Note 2 rolled out by Samsung. But recently HTC has come into sight with its new twist to phablets named as J Butterfly. Knowing the on-going popularity of both the devices, one would definitely want to know what both are offering to its users. Let’s have a look by making a contrast.

New HTC J Butterfly comes with 1.5 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon quad-core processor which has claimed to give great performance. On the other hand, Galaxy Note 2 has 1.6 GHz Exynos quad-core processor which has been acclaimed by most of the tech-savvy users. Both devices have shown up with great response time however, further tests can give more precise results to determine which one wins.

RAM and Storage
J Butterfly has been measured to have 2GB of RAM along with 16 GB of built-in storage. Galaxy Note 2 also offers 2 GB of RAM but with 64 GB of internal memory that clearly defines the winner in this race. However J Butterfly’s storage can be extended through microSD.

As far as cost is concerned, Galaxy Note 2 is available $800 in USA and €650 in UK, while HTC J Butterfly’s price is still yet to be revealed in Japan by the end of this year. 

Samsung galaxy Note 2 is recommended to all the Samsung lovers who find it great as a manufacturer. However, if one is judging on big screen benefits, then HTC J Butterfly is also worth buying as it has all the capabilities to be at leading position in the battle of phablets.
